Flexibility implies the ability to adapt to change in our environment, work place, career or profession. It is a virtue that can help accelerate our success in life.
As a motivational speaker, one is bound to be faced with numerous challenges. Imagine a situation where one has prepared to speak to some groups of adults during a seminar program, only to be confronted with a hall full of youths. The best bet is to quickly change your presentation and style with the prevailing circumstance and situation on ground.
On the other hand, creativity simply means doing things differently. It is not compulsory that you must talk, walk or act exactly like your mentor. You must be creative in your presentation if you are ever going to become successful as a public speaker. If you tried a particular pattern during the course of your presentation and it seems not to be having the desired impact on your audience, common sense should tell you to create something out of the ordinary.
The ability to conveniently combine flexibility and creativity in the course of your presentation is what determines the level of success or failure you can attain. It does not however come easy, as those who have made it will quickly tell you it comes via continuous usage.
